Anyone read the book?
I got to the end and I was like: "come on!" There's one to many people there😠☺
shareI got to the end and I was like: "come on!" There's one to many people there😠☺
shareIf you read the comments from posters and replies, you will see that a lot of people have read the book. I did not.
What do you mean by that ¨there's there is one to many people out there¨? And why to you conceal it as a spoiler?
Because Tad dies in the book.
shareYou're right Tad does die in the book. However Stephen King said somewhere that he regrets killing off the boy. He said the one stipulation he had when the movie was made was the little boy would survive.
shareHe also admitted that his wife told him he should never publish Pet Sematary, and that she was right. Yet he did.
It's a good thing the boy lives in the movie. It would just be too much otherwise. Most viewers, myself included, after all that, would be furious.
"Mom has rabies, kid dies, marriage probably over, oh well." Some ending.
The ending of the book is sad.
shareYes I think I prefer the movie ending. Not that King writes fairytales but that was a bit much!
shareI felt sorry for Cujo too,the disease took over him.
share*Spoilers* For book and movie
I have read the book and seen the movie, and find them both depressing and scary. Some writers do re-writes of their work. Maybe some day, Stephen King will re-write Cujo and change the ending so that Tad lives.
I have seen movie and read book, the book tells you more about the story.
