Jan 23rd: Well it still stings a little that Christmas is over but i am getting used to it now. This countdown will serve as a way to check in throughout the year and countdown to the next marathon for A Christmas Story. I use this website for the countdown www.xmasclock.com. I am just holding on and hoping the first four months fly by. We still have 335 days to go so let the countdown begin!
shareMarch 14th: 285 days left until the next marathon. The year is in full swing and the time just changed last weekend. I just had to turn on the AC in the house and car last week as well. Spring is almost here but i am ready for it this year. It has been a long wet winter and i have a ton to do outside. Only two more updates and fall will be breathing down our necks.
shareMay 11th: 227 days left. In a few days will be the summer solstice and the days will start getting shorter and in another month we will be half way through the year. It is crazy how fast the year has gone; it feels like Christmas was just a couple months ago.

shareJune 21st: The Summer Solstice is here and we are officially on the down hill slope! Hard to believe that Halloween is 4 months away. In a month the fall decorations will start hitting the shelves.
shareJuly 28th: I saw Halloween candy on the shelves two weeks ago!! Is it me or is that a little early? Either way i am glad fall is right around the corner. To me the anticipation of fall and the holiday season is the best time of year. Every day gets alittle better! 149 days left!
shareOct 7th: 78 days left. I am itching to turn on some Christmas music. It has finally cooled off outside and i will have to turn on the heat for the first time this fall. We are in it now!
