'Strange Days' used similar memory technology


I always looked at "Strange Days" as a sequel of sorts, because they used a more advanced version of the playback machine. In Brainstorm, they used a headset and tape, while in Strange Days, they used CDs and a more streamlined version of the headset. I know they're not related, but you can almost see the evolution of the concept in both movies. Both movies are great and maybe it's time we see a remake. I wouldn't mind seeing Christopher Walken back in a sequel of sorts.
