Was there ever a sequel to this?
Not the Will Smith pile of dung-
shareNo.
shareI know it doesn't have it listed on imdb but i do recall seeing a video cover in my local video store in the early 90's called bad boys 2, as far as i remember it looked to be a cheaply made straight to video deal and the cover had 2 guys wearing prison attire in a kind of running action pose, there was probably some other stuff going on in the background but i dont remember.
my guess is that it was an unofficial sequel which had no relation to the first film probably went under another name in other countries. guess it dissapered without a trace, for the best i imagine.
It seems they do that a lot for movies. They seem to think that some people who liked the original might want to check it out, even though they are only similar in nature. Even worldwide, they are often known as "in name only" sequels to cash in on well known movies.

You could think of The Breakfast Club as a saccharine prequel of sorts, with Judd Nelson standing in for Sean Penn. Given the presence of Alan Ruck here, I think we can presume Ferris Bueller's Day Off is all an LSD trip (or possibly Carl's hallucination as he lies dying).
shareI just saw in another thread that there was a sequel in 1999 called "Bad Boys 2". It was also known as Dead Punkz. Please click on http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0313341/
I had never heard of it before. It isn't even on wikipedia. The "sequel" had noting to do with the original other than being about juvenile delinquents.
