DVD CUT OUTS

It's been a few years since I saw this film last, I just got the DVD, and there are a few scenes that seem to of been shorten or cut out? Does anyone know why they would do this?

Perhaps Tom, asked for his "FAMOUS NUDE SHOT" to be cut out??

Does anyone know if they intend to bring the full version on DVD or is this what they are doing now CUTTING out bits of films?

Besides,Tom Cruise was a new guy back then and has yet to become a superstar since All The Right Moves was shown in the same year as Risky Business and three years before Top Gun.
