Hey guys, I've been working on a blog project where I'm watching all the Top 50 films from 1983 (according to box office) and I recently finished my first viewing of ALL THE RIGHT MOVES. I skimmed through it but read the bulk of the meat of the review. This is one of my favorite 80s movies so I skipped through any explanation of the basics. Totally agree that the setting of this film is very similar to Deer Hunter. Overall a very good review. You've done your research and I learned a few things I didn't know. Also completely agree that Chris Penn was fantastic and essential to this film. Maybe his best role (this or Footloose though I give the edge to ATRM.) Thanks for sharing!
