Does anybody know her name? She was also in the party scene, Tank's girlfriend. Although Lea is totally hot, this girl is completely gorgeous. Haven't seen her in anything else...bummer.

If you are talking about the girl with dark hair in the typing class that keeps turning around and looking at Tom Cruise and his friend, she was an actual student of Johnstown High School. I graduated from there in 1981 and remember her as an underclassman.

Thanks for the support hms868. I am 40, so I don't care if she is 40. I have thought she was hot since the movie first came out and wanted to know if she has done any other movies. Highcshot probably wasn't even born in 1983.

So what's wrong with being 40? Does being 40 mean that life is over? Are us 40 year olds "over the hill"

I know quite a few 40, and even 50, 60 year old women that are gorgeous.

I'm 40 and I'll take you on- basketball, football, wrestling, baseball, track, name it.

Us 40 year olds aren't exactly ready for shuffleboard just yet.

Diezman...you are absolutely correct!!! I am 40 and ran 5 miles this morning. Not sure how many of those snot-nosed kids out there could do that, much less at 40.

There is a girl in the credits listed simply as "Girl At Party", and the actor's name is Mercy Rigby. I'm wondering if this is the same girl from the infamous "Typing Class" scene because the same girl appears in both scenes.

I know I'm late on this, but when I get a chance I will ask my sister about this. She was a senior at JHS the year the movie was filmed, so she might have known the girl in question.

I have been to this forum before looking for her other credits as well. She was the prettiest girl in the movie and I figured she would've gone on to appear in other parts.

for my money Riley's GF was way hotter than the Gal in typing class,

even though she was dumb enough to get knocked up. Maybe she thought it would get her out of the dead end town (a la Officer and A Gentleman)
