UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE TO JAN MICHAEL VINCENT

Did anyone notice that Gene Davis had an uncanny resemblance to Jan Michael Vincent who starred with Bronson in "The Mechanic".

reply

He does-could be his half-bro.

reply

I thought there was a resemblance between the two, though he didnt have Jan Michael's "swagger".

reply

Makes you wonder why they didn't cast Vincent, as the two worked so well together in The Mechanic.

Wait a minute... who am I here?

reply

Vincent was at the top of his game in 83, right before Winds of War. He would have been great in this flick!

reply

Would Jan-Michael Vincent have agreed to do half the film totally nude?

reply

Very good point.

(then again, you never know...)

That's very true. Maybe he would have bared all for the role. Too bad he wasn't offered the part, though Gene Davis did a terrific job.

reply

Gene Davis was the late Brad ("Midnight Express") Davis' brother.

Well Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich is in the news a lot lately, and every time I see him I can't help but think of the Warren Stacy character. Halfway good-looking halfway serial killer.

That's very true, and that courtroom sketch is incredibly creepy. A lot of killers seem to fit that description: Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, Scott Peterson. Of course, they don't necessarily look like killers until you find out they are.

reply

Blagojevich may be halfway gppd=looking, but the other half is a lot creepier than Warren Stacy!
