Because the aliens were a guest on planet Earth. Everyone of them were considered guest stars

I think (??) in the 84 follow-up his face was pulled down in front a live TV audience.

Not sure if it's the 1st one or the 2nd...just bought the original on Amazon now.

But pretty sure it's 84 and he was the "lead visitor".
