SEASON 1 DVD IS HERE

i got my copy on tuesday of season 1 and i am watching it as i type--the quality is amazing, much better than i was expecting. I have purchased 2 other sets (1 from anniversary site and 1 from other site) and the quality was very poor but better than nothing. The episodes are full episodes no cuts (severl scenes I do not remember seeing before). There is no special features but english subtitles are available. the picture is clear and bright and not as dark as all the ones i've seen and the sound is also very good (i didn't think they could edit it that well). I am just so excited i feel like a kid at christmas.....well I will type more later, I have several hours of SMK to watch. As Smyth would say

Where did you get your copy of season 1 already? I have mine pre-ordered at Amazon. It won't be released until March 9th.

This was my favorite show back in the 80's. I am really looking forward to finally seeing some quality TV! It's pretty sad that you have to look at 20 years ago to find that.

My VCR tapes of this show wore out many years ago. I'm really glad they finally decided to release it on DVD!

I'm surprised that it's been released even earlier than the 9th of March!

one of the perks of being a video store owner is that we received our copies on tuesday march 2nd to prep them for next week. I LOVE THIS PERK - I always get my favs early and cheap.

Mine arrived in the mail from Amazon Tue, March 16 and I've already watched the whole season.

They need to hurry with the next 3 seasons.
