Why didnt uncle Roy ever make another appearance?

altho i liked the nightschool teacher, i always thought thelma had more chemistry with Roy. Even in the end of the episode thelma says he would be back.

was he just forgotten?

If I remember right, that episode was at the end of the original run of shows in 1984. Murray Hamilton passed away in 1986.

yep, he sure did! probably was not doing too well to many any appearances when the show continued in 1986. was going to star in the last jaws movie-the revenge when production started in 1986 but he passed before it began.
