The Jeopardy episode
Iola refers to it as Thelma's TV debut. Apparently she forgot about the Harper family's loss on Family Feud.

shareThis is why sometimes I think of the NBC and Syndicated episodes as occurring in 2 different realities lol
In the Family Feud episode Vint remarks it would be Mama's first time in Hollywood, but Mama went to Hollywood to visit her son Phillip in a Family Sketch of the Carol Burnett Show.
I think the same thing. After the Jeopardy episode tonight, "Bubba's Double Date" is airing, and Naomi throws a fit that Vint dated some chick when he was younger. Now maybe it was who the girl was or the fact Vint never told her, but the way Vint says, "it was long before I met you," and Naomi was still angry, it made me think, "uhhh, the guy was married before you and has two grown children!" But since the first-run syndicated years make it look like Vint was never married before, scenes like this arise... or mistakes in references from the NBC years (or the CB skits).
shareIt always bugged me when spouses would get angry at the fact their spouse had a dating life before they married lol
shareI have to think of the NBC episodes (which I don't care as much for, in retrospect) and syndicated seasons as separate realities as well. The Carol Burnett Show sketches are in a world all their own.
Buzz and Sonya are forgotten after a brief mention in episode one of the syndicated seasons. Iola is apparently a longtime neighbor and friend who is never seen or mentioned in the NBC seasons.
After watching most of the episodes on MeTV, I can't really put the two separate runs together as one any longer.

The Boylands go back even as far as the Family Sketches from the Carol Burnett Show. Mama mentiones "Mrs Boyland" a few times.
