Amazon.ca has been showing a box set of 'The Hitchhiker - The Complete Collection' that could be pre-ordered for October 11.

A new review from someone who got an early look says that the collection is NOT complete, it's only 30 episodes on 6 discs, likely the same 30 episodes that have previously been released on the Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3 sets of 'The Hitchhiker'.

If you want 30 random (and repeat) episodes go ahead.

I wanted the complete series of 85 episodes.

Caveat Emptor.

Thank god I kept the original canadian releases. What I figured. Between those, the US releases and the 2 episodes I got from a trade, I have the whole series.

Got My copy today. The quality is all over the place, with some episodes seemingly sped up, others slowed down, sporadic and random editing and censorship that makes no sense at all, and ghosting in a few cases.

What a poor job they did with that release! Why bother?!
