Does anybody know off hand where The Hitchhiker was filmed and during what season(s) thay started filming in paris?

According the wikipedia, they filmed the first four seasons in Toronto, Ontario. The fifth and sixth seasons were filmed in Paris.

A lot of it was also shot in Montreal in 1984 or 85..........I worked on six or seven episodes during 5 months

Seasons 1-4 were shot in Vancouver for HBO.Seasons 4 and 5 were shot in Toronto and Paris for USA Network.

All of Season 2 was filmed in Montréal.

The introduction with "The Hitchhiker" himself walking along the road looks like it could have been shot in Death Valley
