The character of Cantus the Minstrel was one of my favorite recurring characters on the show. Jim Henson played him wonderfully, and he even rivaled the Trash Heap in wisdom. Just wanted to have a thread in case anyone else felt the same.

Cantus is without a doubt my favorite character. What I wouldn't give for a good Cantus plushie!

shareCantus was a great character and that was probably my favorite episode in season 1. I loved the song he sings and I love the song that comes from the melody. I have a job where I work at night driving a forklift and I find myself, singing Cantus' song also with the "song where you know you belong." I really wish the Henson company would come out with a song a soundtrack, that would be awesome. I love the music from the show.
shareCantus was my favorite character as a child. When they started putting out the three episode sets I was desperate for one with him in it, but there wasn't. When the first season came out I got to see him again for the first time since I was young and now that I am old enough to understand more of what he's talking about I think he is just brilliant.
