The two critters that hung out with The Trash Heap?
One thing I remember about this show was that there were two fuzzy critters that always hung around The Trash Heap. What were these things suposed to be? Did they have names?

sharethere names were Philo and Grunge...
and I believe they were sort of like rats...
kinda like gonzo is sorta like a turkey.
Thanks for the info. I always thought that they were either suposed to be rats (or some type of rodent) or cockroaches (or some sort of insect). Both are known to hang around garbage they really could pass for either. But now that you mention it they did have a rather Gonzo-ish apperance.
sharethe gonzo thing.. was a bit of a joke as a reference to an obscure line from the original muppet movie.
Kermit... has a conversation... with... well.... Kermit... and the 'real' kermit says about the.. whatever.. that he's kinda like a turkey... and the 'mirage' kermit says.. "yea, he's sorta like a turkey, but not much."
I think Philo and Grunge were kind of whatever you wanted them to be...
sides, every powerful character like the trash heap.. needs a majordomo.

I believe it is actually Philo and "Gunge" not "grunge".
Just a small correction.
But they were fun.
"The Trash Heap has spoken. NAAAAH!"
I think they were just a Jim Henson creature. He made all kinds of weird things (like Gonzo) it seems he liked giving "creatures" hose noses. lol
