Who was the old workshop keeper?

Who was the actor that played the dude in the workshop? The only live actor? The old guy?

Why is it so difficult to find cast members from the credits on IMDB? TV Shows are the worst for this. If you don't know the exact episode#, season#, and character name you could search forever. And all the lessor known actors have no picture...

I wish there was a description next to the character name/label. I wish IMDB posted a courtesy picture. I wish I could know everything! :-)

Nevermind... I found it. DOC was his Character's name.

He was also in the Movie Boondock Saints. His role was so different than Doc.

Yet he was still Doc... (his name in the movie)

Here at IMDB they have a couple of different actors listed for Doc, but I only remember one, who is only credited with appearing in 6 episodes (and so is Sprocket, by the way)... Surely this cannot be true...

You're right, of course Doc & Sprocket appeared in all of the episodes, not only six. The reason you only remember one Doc and yet more are listed, is that you've probably only seen the US/ Canadian version of Fraggle Rock, while the Doc/ Sprocket segments were different in some other countries. So there was a French version of Doc & Sprocket, a British and a German one. Those are the additional Docs & Sprockets credited here.
