I saw on the TV that Fraggle rock will show on Boomerang in the UK on the 23rd july. I was thinking that this would be the first real life show on boomerang in a while. I would if they will show fraggle rock in the USA version with doc or the UK version with the scotish man in the light house?

Fulton Mackay was by far the best 'presenter'. The Doc was rubbish, I like John Gordon Sinclair and I vaguely remember Simon O'Brien doing the last few, but Fulton was the most natural.

I saw him in Porridge first, so it was a bit strange, but like you say he took on both roles naturally and seemed like a really nice guy. Even as Mr MacKay you could warm to him:
Mackay: Got a young lad called Nicholson moving in here.
Fletch: He's not a Scot, is he? I mean, we do draw the line somewhere.
Mackay: No, he's from Sunderland.
Fletch: Dangerously close!

Doc is so stupid,why did fulton mackay had to die like that?My funniest part was in ''the secret of convincing john'' at the end,water started to poke out and he ran over and shouted at sprocket,classic!

shareI watched this years ago and was dissappointed that they showed the usa version Fulton McKay was much better than the doc still the programme itself brought back a lot of memories much better than the drivel they shovel out to kids these days.
Fulton played the lighthouse keeper until he became ill in with stomach cancer and he died shortly after at the early age of 65.
