Ethnocentrism or Cultural Anthropology

Did anyone else notice how each group of beings had this shallow idea of what all the other groups of beings were or the point of their existence?

Like how the fraggles viewed the gorgs, or how the doozers viewed the fraggles, or how Uncle Matt understood humans.

Jim Henson was really a genius in providing for us a childlike version of cultural anthropology.

I'd definetly consider Travelling Matt an anthropologist and an ethnocentrist because he also had this sense of superiority over humans.
He was definetly ethnocentric believing fraggle culture was superior to "silly creature" culture.
He often scoffed at human behaviors and wrote them off as strange.

Someone on youtube said "Uncle Matt is like an imperialist explorer encountering an alien culture, who thinks he's learned all about it."

I could not agree more with this comment.
