Sprocket Appreciation Thread

Steve Whitmire and Karen Prell did an amazing job bringing Sprocket to life. He really feels like a real dog with human intelligence. I loved the voice Steve used for him and there are so many great scenes with him throughout the series, that I can't remember them all. He was always a highlight of any show. Just a perfect character all around. My favorite episode of his, was probably the one where he's outside with Doc in the park and then falls down a hole to Fraggle Rock. It was great to see him explore the Rock with Gobo and Wrench.

This thread is for the fans of Sprocket. What's your favorite episodes, scenes or moments?

I agree with your post! Sprocket is one of my favorite characters on the show. He is VERY well animated! My husband and I have recently re-discovered Fraggle Rock on netflix; I REALLY think a recent musical artist could cover some of these songs and have a #1 CD!

Anyway, back to Sprocket: he is always, to me, the "voice of reason," the one that always sees more than anyone else. Every show has one (Hurley on Lost, Zander on Buffy, etc). I do thing is it funny how many times Doc says Sprocket's name in one show. I am actually considering turning it into a drinking game "take one shot every time Doc says Sprocket, Sprocky or any variety thereof, and/or if you see Sprocket's name on his lunch bowl," etc...

Sprocket seems to be smarter than Doc.
