I've always like this pairing. Way more than the obvious pairing of Alvin and Brittany.
Their personalities seem to mesh real well. Alvin the loud and egocentric member of the group. And Jeanette the quiet and shy member of the group.
I find it interesting that some episodes even paired them up. Its seems that even the creators felt the same way too.
Does anyone else feel this way.
I liked Alvin with Eleanor, actually. They had a few interactions here and there, and it seemed like he was more challenged by her and, at the same time, she had the ability to ground him and keep him from getting too confident.
shareI dunno. Alvin and Brittany seemed to be the strongest pairing, especially in the valentine's day episode. Throughout the series it is implied that they have a crush on each other but are either too proud or too scared to admit it to one another.
shareI seen it too and in a few short movies (batmunk and the easter special ) Jennet plays female love interest to Alvins characters and Brittany plays love interest to Simon's.
I feel Alvin tends to have a soft spot for her, even in the recent 3D show. He stands up for her and even feels bad when he's a jerk. The only other person that comes close to that is Theo.
I'm not sure exactly what that means, but people can ship what they want. I believe Alvin fits with any of the Chipettes.
They're paired up with their counterparts, Alvin with Brittany, Simon with Jeanette, and Theodore with Eleanor. It been that way with every incarnation. I even remember an episode that showed the future where they were all married, and Alvin and Brittany even had 2 kids.
Alvin does seem to have a soft spot for Jeanette, but not in the romantic sense. The Chipmunks Go To The Movies can't be counted as pairing them up because they're acting in movies.
