watched some of the pilot on youtube

i was graduating high school when this came on and i dont remember watching it when it first aired .
my parents were the big fans of the original MASH and so i was forced to watch it growing up as a kid.. i actually liked MASH but after watching the pilot for AFTERMASH - i see now why it failed. it was full of unappealing characters and just flat out boring. brandis kemp was especially annoying as some type of secretary named alma and the way they tried to play just about every other line for laughs was painful. even though mash was this type of dramedy that worked, aftermash was not ,a shame that they didnt rework it and get hawkeye and the some of the mash gang to guest star.. im sure loretta swit and others opted out for obvious reasons.
