This show did not need anymore Mash semi-regs in the cast (that would have made the whole thing just Mash again instead of the spin-off it was trying to be)! There was little wrong with the new supporting cast they came up with (the show was just too left-wingish)! BTW Bailey has lots of fans as Rizzo!
shareYES!! Bring in Freedman and Rizzo,! They were the two up-and-comers for the main role after Radar left, but none made it. It would've been interesting to see how they handled being main characters.

I'll go you one better: change the title of the show back to M*A*S*H, get all the original actors back and retcon the 2-hour finale. I mean, this show relied far too much on its parent show to try and be different.
