Col FLagg

Did Col Flagg ever show up in this series?

reply

Yes he did.

I vaguely remember him testifying in court.

I think they were prosecuting Klinger for something or another.

I thought he was the prosecutor but I was wrong. He was a witness for the prosecution who had been keeping tabs on Klinger since the war. He went off on one of his nutty conspiracy theories and everyone walked out of the courtroom, including the judge who thought Flagg was nuts.

Without someone like Burns to believe in Flagg the latter was nowhere. Kim II Sung, BTW, was such a mass-murderer of his own North Koreans!

The name Topix sounds familiar but I don't know what message boards they have been on. Also, someone like Frank would be just dumb enough to believe in a nut case like Flagg. I guess it's because Frank was always so gun-ho about the Army and the war and Flagg was pretty much the same way.

Without some respect some TV characters just cannot thrive and early on Flagg had Frank and even Hot Lips's respect and later he had none from anyone and the guest character turned to a big zero.
