What did Dwight Schultz do during Vietnam?

George Peppard turned 18 in 1946 and joined the Marines, Dirk Benedict turned 18 in 1963 and Mr T joined the army in 1970 and became an MP (oh the irony!) but was never deployed to Vietnam (Nixon's Vietnamization policy kicking in by that stage).

But Dwight Schultz turned 18 in 1965, why wasn't he drafted?

I don't think Dirk and Dwight join the army, they went to colleges. Just George, Mr. T and Eddie.



Dirk Benedict had tried to enlist but was denied because of concussions during his football days and Dwight Schultz probably went to college instead. Not sure.
