Didn't believe in getting a variety of actors and actresses or they just liked the small crop of the ones they already had. Cause we all know that almost every guest star made at least a minimum of 2 guest appearances. Oh and by the way " I got no time for the Jibba Jabba".

At least that's what my tee shirt says.

That was pretty common back then. Look up the guest stars' resumes and you'll find a lot of them were on many of the shows in the 70s and 80s.

It's still like that today. You see the same actor playing different characters on Law and Order all the time.
