R-rated? Hey, if Jane's boyfriend and his buddies had been able to give Peyton what he deserved (beating him to a bloody pulp), the movie would have had a PG or even a G rating. (I would like to see that anyway.)

I've always gotten the impression that that's how this whole Porky's genre has survived into the Blu-Ray era...little kids sneaking peeks at these movies on cable and having fond memories of when they got away with seeing whatever it was they saw. It absolutely plays into memories of being a horny 13-14 year old.
shareWhen I was 6 years old, the movie hit cable and seemed to be on continuously for a few years. My mom caught it first and then recommended that I watch it. Bad parenting or more innocent time? I'm inclined to think the latter because, although this movie has a dirty mind, it also has a huge heart. And I surmise the goofy Disney-esque innocence is the reason that the film still endures while other cable-standard T&A flicks from the same era like "Joysticks" and "Hollywood Hot Tubs" have mostly been forgotten.
