Fantastic Job By Robin Williams and Cast

This is one of those movies where you either love it or hate it. I find very few people that I have talked to that saw the movie, who's opinion is in the middle. The Title is "The world According to Garp." This means we are really to watch this movie as if we are seeing everything through one person's eyes. Because we are all so individualized, it's going to appear strange in many ways. Considering that this was Robin William's first serious acting role in a movie, I thought he played the character brilliantly. There were so many emotions portrayed in the movie; happiness, sadness, joy, mourning the loss of a child and parent, etc. Not a very easy task for a young actor. And of course the supporting roles by Glenn Close, and John Lithgow were amazing!!! In many ways the movie incorporates as much humor into it as sadness. I don't think it's Robin's best performance, but considering his age and lack of experience to date, I think he pulled it off like a pro!! Now, he might be one of the most versatile actor/comedians around.
