I haven't seen this movie since I was a kid and it's not a good time to watch such a movie since you have no comprehension of what's going on. Certain scenes have stuck with me. Namely, the ending. Could someone please summarize who the woman was and why she executed Garp?

Pooh -- the sister of the girl Garp fooled around with as a teen.
Pooh becomes an Ellen Jamesian and cuts out her own tongue. The EJ's are extremely anti-male, and, in the novel, Pooh blamed Garp for the death of her sister (he had nothing to do with it).
Thanks for that. It helps explain that fuzzy childhood memory I have of him saying Pooh.
