Warner Archives has announced this title as a MOD Blu-ray, to be released in 2015, possibly in August.
I know what a Blu-ray disc is, and I know what a MOD (manufactured on demand) disc is. I guess this will be a hybrid release, as I'm not certain how a Blu-ray can be a MOD.
I'm curious about that, too. They've released quite a few MOD Blu-rays, and so far most have gotten great reviews for their quality (Greystoke, Hudsucker Proxy, Out of the Past, etc)
Looking forward to getting Garp. It's been one of my faves since I saw it at the theater.

Received mine today, ordered from Amazon. Looks GORGEOUS...best I've ever seen it. Only feature is the trailer. Well worth the upgrade from the DVD.
