Is there a quote from this movie in a beastie boys song?
Something like "I dont hang out with does guys anymore"
Ive always wondered what movie this quote is from
"My father used to touch my butthole" - John Stamos

yes that line is from wild style. it is the scene early on where Lee/Zoro is talking to the guy outside and the guy tells Lee that all the graffiti guys have had her. Lee says "shut up chico man" or something.
from the check your head album
it's the scene when lee/zorro is looking for a job outside of the grocery store and chico tells him that the guys from the union painted the mural. Then he tells him that Rose has been hanging out with the union and chico says, "I'd paint a hundred murals for a piece of that a$$." Zorro replies, "You'll never get a chance in a million years punk."
shareyes there is, though i don't remember which :D
1: "Ey, yo, i don't hang out with those guys, i don't got nothin to do with those dudes.."
2: "yo i saw your female with them too, whats up with her.?!"
something like that, but can't remember :D
NaS has some homages to it from his first released song to his last released song haha.
on "Illmatic" he has a straight audio sample from it in the intro track.
and he mentions watching it in the last track of "Hip Hop is Dead"
The Beastie Boys song that featured the quote from "Wild Style" is called "Professor Booty."
"Professor, what's another for pirate treasure?"
"Well, I think it's BOOTY...BOOTY...BOOTY. That's what it is..."
Nah, that ain't from WS.
"I'm scheming like I'm dreaming on a couch with my feet up."
I been hearing that she's been giving that stuff out to ALL them graffiti guys--Yo shut the fv<k up Chico man--I'd paint three of those murals for some of THAT a$$.
shareYes. As mentioned already, Professor Booty. I'be had the Check Your Head album since it came out and and very familiar with that line, but I had no idea where it came from.
Then here I am in 2016 watch Wild Style for the first time and those two (Ray/Zoro and Chico) start talking and something jogs in the back of my head saying "Hey I recognize these voices!" I had it figured out before they got to the actual exchange used by the Beasties.
It was fun to randomly run into that! Now I know!
There are a bunch of homages. Two decades later, I can point you to one of the most famous ones. . .amazed nobody mentioned it. . .the beginning of Paul Revere is taken from "Stoop Rap" that KK Rockwell and Little Ronnie C do. Fun fact: they are two members of the SEMINAL group Funky Four +1.
Yer welcome. . .
