shareIf you head on over to http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/6301977890/102-9241189-6120926?v=glance
it's sold as VHS with no word about a DVD release, unfortunately.

I havent seen it in so many years -- I mean I saw it in the theatres when it came out! I was like 10 years old or something. I should do a write up on the movie based on what I remember for my website, that might be fun! Then go watch it again afterwards.

This and many other 3D films are regularly available in field sequential 3D on DVD on eBay. The copy I bought was pretty decent quality. The film is technically one of the best 3D movies now available. And the story is pretty well done, with a wild ending!
shareI have been trying to find this movie forever. Apparently, somebody is advertising a "DVD" version of this movie on eBay:

Questionable quality to say the least - it looks like the seller just dummied it through iMovie or iDVD and made menus... fraudulent - especially the part about sending it in a paper sleeve instead of its case "to reduce shipping costs." Har.
I've got a bootleg version in field-sequential 3D and Widescreen. Picture is pretty good especially when viewed in 3D. Unfortunately, you need expensive 3D tech glasses to view it, but it is worth it.
My DVD can easily be converted into 2D and even Red/Blue 3\d
"Everybody cry when my big monkey die" - Dino DeLaurentiis.
D*mn, I thought I was the only person out there to remember this flick. Guess I was dead wrong. There was something really neat about this movie. I can't put my finger on it. Like most people here, I saw it cr*ploads of times on HBO as a kid.
Maybe it was the way that guy's face fell apart at the end of the movie.
Who knows...I liked this movie and I miss it and I wanna see it again.
saw it as a kid and loved the rafter crawling sequence.
some of the shots are very indiana jones/ tomb raider...it's a bad film i know but,
have a beer and watch it with some friends...and drink at all perilous scenes.
i got the vhs on e-bay
i threaten my girl with it every now and then....heh
she's such a good sport about it.
i ordered it with enter the ninja...another awful enjoyment.
those crazy italian kids!!!!

"Treasure of the four Crowns" may never be released on DVD due to issues with the copyrights, there are currently 200 outstanding supreme court cases filed by every movie studio in the world, each claiming rights to the DVD release of "Treasure of the four Crowns" because these studios realize the incredible finacial benifit their studio would have from a DVD release of "Treasure of the four Crowns". One studio executive was quoted as saying "with the revenue generated from a "Treasure of the four Crowns" DVD release our studio could continue to release sub-par movies for years."
sharelol
sharewould you be willing to copy and share 1982 Treasure of the Four Crowns? i am a fan. My brother has been asking for years if i ever figured out what that movie was that we saw back then and i think this is it.

Shout! Factory is releasing this film on DVD as part of a four movie action adventure box set.
I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
Part of a four movie action set on dvd from Shout Factory July 15, 2014 so it wont be in HD 3D. Unless they release a Blu-ray edition which I doubt
