The ending?
Just what was it that happened in the final few moments of the film? Where and what was that slimy thing supposed to be?
shareTony Anthony says the final scene doesn't have anything to do with the plot and wasn't even in the final script.
It was a last minute idea that was spawned during the last day of shooting.
The reasoning behind it was to have one last final 3-D effect.
And they wanted it to be memorable...
I can't think of something that would be any more memorable than that weird tumor.
Well they sort of accomplished that.
