Well, the shooting style is pretty basic and uninspired. The music is awful as hell. The performances are actually okay from the veteran actors, and the lead playing Gawain does a decent job, but the film, for all of the costuming and other work that went into it, was sloppily put together.
It actually reminds me of my pre-university films, stuff I shot with me friends before going to film school. You can see there's a kind of talent in there, but it's kind of scatter brained. It's almost as if the director didn't know what shots to shoot, or lacked a story board or shot design.
I'll have to see it again to make another assessment.
