A good Italian Thriller
This film is a great example of a 1980s Italian slasher thriller. I just watched The New York Ripper after buying the dvd on EBAY. Great exterior New York locations, great interior sets, great photography, offbeat story and beautiful women. Could have benefited from a better actor as the lead detective, maybe someone back then like Alex Rocco. Almanta Suska and Alexandra Delli Colli were amazing. Very good direction from Lucio Fulci.
