Did Sophie lie about going to the ghetto?
Our Sophie lies a lot to make herself look better. I think she lied to Stingo about going to the ghetto, pitying the vulnerable Jews, and advocating for them to her father after his speech. Her refusal to help her lover and her hesitation to steal the radio suggest she is not a crusader.
