So, what did I miss?

Okay, I just got done watching the Continental release (the tape that also features Scalps, both movies having a runtime of 75 minutes).
All I've heard is that this film was edited for pacing reasons, but not for gore (not that there was really much to edit anyway).

So, I'm wondering what actually was cut out. What was the content of the scenes? Can anybody actually post cut dialogue?
I know there were a few things that felt edited (there seemed to be something missing when it went directly from Kay waking up from her nightmare at the beginning to the plane landing on the island, for instance).

I've heard that the pacing was the worst thing about the uncut version, and that this version may be better, but no one has actually compared them and said which one is better.
I'm wanting to know if the other version is worth getting, as, if I want, I can get a copy of the 80 minute (or 81 or 82, depending on what you're reading) version.

Thoughts?

I would have to get a copy of the VHS you speak of (which a local rental place has) but I remember this much: between Kay waking from her nightmare and the plane landing, there was a brief conversation and a stupid love scene in the shower. As for other cut footage, I cannot say.
