Before it's time...

This movie was so before it's time. Nobody remembers it, which is a tragedy. Since the whole idea of the villian who can't be killed, was developed in this movie.... before Jason, or Michael Myers, or The Terminator, and countless others of the genre.
I think this was one of Chuck's best movies actually. I always thought they would make a sequel, but alas, to no avail.
A real shame. Great grade B action/horror.

Both "Halloween"(1978) and "Friday the 13th"(1980) came out before this movie.

Besides that, you make an excellent point.

Wow. My mistake. Glad you agree though.

I was going to say the same thing about your references to the other two films, but your mahor point still holds true. This movie was very different and took the horror/slasher angle and combined it with martial arts. That hasn't been done too successfully.

This film is Chuck's best effort and i can't help thinking that when it was released there must have been some high hopes.

I was a big fan of his films back in the eighties and given the chance i would like to see this one again. Its nothing like any of his other films.

I can't help thinking that this film does actually show where most of Chuck Norris's film go wrong.

The Best War Movie is a Anti-War Movie!
