Razzie Nominations
I was wondering if anyone knows how many Razzie nominations this film received upon release because it really should have swept the awards that year.
shareMorgan Fairchild was nominated as worst actress in 1982 but the winner was Pia Zadora for Butterfly. Odd, too, since Morgan was actually very good in The Seduction, particularly at the end where she turns the tables on Andrew Stevens.
shareShe certainly did NOT deserve a Razzie nomination, much less an award. I've always been under the impression that Morgan Fairchild was a bad actress, but after watching this again, I think she's pretty good here. This isn't a great film, but it's entertaining and Morgan makes it work.
shareShe was actually nominated for two Razzies, Worst Lead Actress and Worst New Star. Colleen Camp was also nominated for Worst Supporting Actress.
