Apollo's trainer in the first two films finally has a NAME: Duke.

WHY on earth did he not have a name in Rocky I and Rocky II ???

The character's full name is Tony "Duke" Evers, and he was referred to as "Tony" in Rocky II by Apollo when Duke was trying to dissuade him from fighting Rocky again.

Damn, that's terrible news. RIP. He was an underrated Rocky character. I liked him in all the movies.
