Mick living with Rocky

Mick strikes me as the kind of individual who wants to stay to himself.
I understand that Rocky wanted his manager close to him and was his personal trainer.
But Mickey eats, sleeps drinks and breathes boxing. He clearly looks uncomfortable in any setting outside of boxing. I would've given him a nice house nearby for himself. When I'm with my family, that's all I want to think about. I couldn't imagine Mick tagging along on a Balboa family vacation. Just nitpicking, nothing much.

Want to make over $3,000 or more a month for only $18?

Got news for ya'... even some people who would like to be on their own, can't be. It might have nothign to do with Rocky wanting to be close to Mick, and everything to do with Mick's physical and mental capacities being diminished where he was not safe to be by himself.

These are things a young person might not think of... But there might be a day where you must move mom and dads back into YOUR place.... They took care of you in diapers... now you return the favor.

I personally believe that Rocky would feel guilty leaving his trainer who helped him become wealthy and famous back in his ramshackle apartment and crummy neighborhood while Rocky lived the plush lifestyle in his multimillion dollar mansion in an upscale suburban town. So he probably offered Mickey a home in his guest room. That's my guess.
