Sylvester Stallone was desperate to have 'Another One Bites The Dust' as the theme tune to 'Rocky III' but the film company persuaded him to go with Survivor's 'Eye Of The Tiger'.
I think that it was a good idea that Eye Of The Tiger was used, because Another One Bites The Dust would have been a bad song for the the Rocky 3, would have ruined the intro and been less upbeat.
For an 80s movie, Another One Bites the dust still has a 70s feel to it. Of course it probably wasn't as noticeable in 82. The song doesn't really get you riled up to workout or knockout Clubber Lang.
