Theory- Social engineering combined with capitalism has deemed certain movies taboo. Random encounters of taboo film with new generations will be limited.

Year rank (1982) - #5 (#6 Star Trek II, #4 Rocky III)

Taboo specifics- overt teenage sexual behavior once deemed harmless, now taboo. Female reaction in movie to sexual pranks does not conform with current expected reaction from women.

The bluray is still widely available. It had a few funny parts but it wasn't a good movie and neither were the sequels.

For now, Revenge is not taboo.

(Opinion) due to a higher nostalgia value.

Higher nostalgia value = ratings + censorship blowback if removed

Interesting results. I always thought it was a very poor mans Animal House.

Other sex comedies of the era that were better.

AH and FTARH are classics.

Really crappy. do they realize the film is very anti-racist? Maybe because it does it in a way that is tasteful and doesn't shove ideals down our throats. Also the men were naked and humiliated too in this...One day cancel culture will cancel the arts out of existence. Then maybe things will start over and get back to normal.

I just looked it up, it has only 2 showtimes both 1:15 am and 2:35 am.

Showtime has over 200 movies On demand. Porky's IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

The very late airtimes, only 2 showings and the movie not being available on demand strengthens the case that this movie does indeed have a taboo element.
