It is so off the current culture...

Are millinials aware of this movie? It is becoming more and more obscure.

The scene where the (young) virgin breaks into a basement crawl space and watches the women shower, then sticks his member in the shower hole to show the girls...Pee Wee would now spend time in prison and labeled a sex offender for 10 years.

What would gen y/z reaction be? Outrage?/Apathy?Are they already desensitized from porn?

This movie is never shown on cable, I can't remember the last time I watched it. (Ok it's not really a great movie, but a good example of how social mores change with time) Slowly this movie is heading for the dust bin of history.

Maybe. Revenge of Nerds is more offensive - even Sixteen Candles, surprisingly.

Probably not. I mean, most of the movie would have to go, and then it wouldn't be Porky's.

You probably could still make it but you would have to change it from being about horny straight guys to horny discriminated against gay guys or transgender people or make it some kind of revenge flick where the girls are checking out the guys through a peep hole and record it and post it online, because one or more of the guys has done something very unwoke to upset them so they deserve it.

It would be a miserable film.

howard stern owns the rights to this and revenge of the nerds, last time i checked. neither could be remade today unless changes were made. would it be a hit then?
