STILL BRINGS ME TO TEARS...30yrs. SYD.B.

I'm still moved by the film after many years since I was a boy. Now I understand the madness we all face, the madness syd lived with, the irony so brilliantly painted by genius of the band.
....and I think about Bob geldof and his portrayal of "pink". The depression, isolation, stardom, wealth, women, drink, sadness the profound sadness he manages to keep under the surface, and it makes me think of those times when I was so low.
Most people have no clue about the wall...but this was Syd Barrets film, he was a light in a world of mediocrity and he had to go insane to deal with the madness of conform ing.
I will never forget this film...and hope more people look under the surface for the meanings in life and death and mental illness...I'm one of them.
