I thought he was dressed like Syd through out the movie not just the wedding scene

The wedding scene was when I really noticed it. The combination of hairstyle and clothes was a good indicator.

Actually a lot of the movie was based on Syd Barrett. Specifically the parts where Pink is sitting on the chair with that paranoid look in his face smoking the cigarette and the body hair shaving part. All things that Syd Barrett did.
