Gerald Scarfe should adapt MAUS

The difficulty of adaption here isn’t content but form. Art Spiegelman’s graphic novel re-telling of his fathers holocaust-survivor biography is unquestionably beloved and respected, packed with devastating images and effective story telling. Watership Down is an animated classic, Persepolis was highly-applauded, Maus is a work which could and should be done right. No punches pulled. If it were made with respect, it could be an all-time classic
