I agree completely. I don't understand why it is so popular. I remember thinking it was sad that when they reformed in 2005 for the Live 8 gig they were inevitably going to waste 5 minutes of a 20 minute set playing the blite of Dark Side of the Moon rather than something worthwhile such as Interstellar Overdrive or Hey You.
