Yes, I don't think it was ever meant to be consumed while sober. Get baked and it becomes a completely different film.

It's a brilliant film any way but while stoned.....wow!

We saw it that way when it first came out in theaters. Definitely an experience. Another good one while baked was Heavy Metal.
