I am waiting for it to come out on BD. Cant find it, but for someone from Russia selling a disc. Why did it come out in Russia but not in US?
Or am I wrong, and it's on BD already?
No official blu-ray anywhere in the world.

What you can get from Russia is a knocoff hi def (blu ray) recording of the movie from a transfer made for HDnet movies. It has better picture quality than the official DVD from 1999, but it was clearly scanned into HD from a fairly troubled film source as the disc has scratches, tears, dirt spots and some motion blur. The color is also kind of washed out. Overall though due to it being in 1080p it does look better/has higher resolution than the DVD. The other problem is that the sound is also recorded from the HDnet broadcast so its not the same 5.1 mix as the DVD. The big improvement is the animated sequences though, they look WAY BETTER than they did on the DVD. I imagine the delay in the release of a Blu Ray has to do with the fact that the album has not had an official 5.1 CD remix and then they can do the movie, but I don't really know and it's pretty frustrating as it is the ONLY film in my 300+ Blu Ray collection that is not official!
Nope and they need to hurry the hell up with it. We've been waiting years.
